Change is gradual and is a process, rarely do people accecpt change when it comes some are laggards who remain conservative and fail to adapt to it, whilst others are skeptical but take up the innovatve challenge.
Federation of African Media Women Zimbabwe has brought about change in the media fratenity. with a number of programmes such as the annual media awards, networking meetings and the recently launched new nedia training workshops. as an organisation with media women at heart, while working aside their male counter parts.
Recently FAMWZ has emabrked in a New media training for female journalists. The goal being to equip the ladies with adequate skills which will help them to adapt to the internet age. The ladies are been trained in webcasting, podcasting, social media theory, media ethics and critical reasoning theory. watch this space for more information.
