CHANGING THE COMMUNITY THROUGH REPORTING

AS a   member of the community my work have influenced the community in many different  positive ways.
I   once visited a school of children with disabilities in Bulawayo and many of the children were having difficulties in walking and they were in need of wheel chairs.

l wrote an article about the children  and six months down the line a donour chipped in with 16 wheel chairs.He said he had  heard about the plight of the  children in the paper.

In addition ,I once wrote an article about a Housing Coperative of domestic workers, and some other domestic workers asked for contacts  of the  coperative representatives.After a period of two years one of the women who had managed to join informed me that she was allocated  a stand.

In Epworth they is a Aids support group of women and these women were into prostitution but were no longer interested because they were fearing for their health and were willing to start a decent living.

But because they were not financially stable,they just continued with prostitution  but were desperate for someone who could assist them.In a few months time they received assistance and currently they are running their bussiness in the city.
